Make your Campus Accessible

The first step to Inclusive Higher Education is can your Students with Disabilities enter the campus and reach their classes.

Barriers in physical infrastructure needs to be overcome to make inclusion possible.

As an institute of higher education here are some of the things that you can do

• Familiarize yourself with the Government of India Guidelines on Accessible Infrastructure. You can access them here.
• Get an Access Audit of your campus completed through any of the Government of India Em-paneled auditors. Know who they are here. You can also familiarize yourself with the Access Audit Tool that can be used for such audits here.
• Implement the suggestion of the auditors and get your campus ready for accessibility.
